Fun Activities for Mother’s Day in Tahoe Donner 2012
What are you doing to honor Mom on Mother’s Day this year? If you are still scratching your head, you are in luck.
Tahoe Donner has fun event for the whole family from 4-8 pm on Friday May 11.
Enjoy special Mother’s Day crafts including decorating flower pots, coloring pages and flower making activities. Tahoe Donner will also have Wii games on the big screen for kids of all ages. If we have beautiful weather, the bounce house will be set up on the back pavilion.
You can also treat mom to a great dinner at the Lodge after spending quality family time making crafts together!
The Pub will open at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 11. The dining room will open at 5 p.m. To honor Mother’s Day weekend this year, the Lodge is offering a special three course menu in addition to the regular menu on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. And if you want to make Mom feels like a “Queen For A Day”, pamper her with nail gift certificate, spa package at Squaw Creek resort, and last but not least, take her to see Godspell, the fantastic Truckee High School Spring musical. So far the reviews have been fantastic.
The remain dates for Godspell are May 11, 12, 18, 19 at 7 p.m. with 2 p.m. matinee May 13 (Mother’s Day) at the Truckee High School Auditorium. Tickets are only $15 for adults; $10 for children.
